Admission is $10, children 12 & under are free. Tasting tickets will be available for purchase to sample oysters.

Learn from nationally recognized chefs performing demos and workshops throughout the weekend. Featured chefs include Chris Lilly, Cory Bahr, Rusty Hamlin, Rob McDaniel, Adam Evans and our host Martie Duncan.

Stop by the North American Oyster Bar to find your favorite oyster. Taste fresh varieties flown in from seven regions: the Pacific Northwest, New England, the Maritimes, British Columbia, the Mid-Atlantic, Baja Peninsula and the Gulf of Mexico.
The Cook-Off isn’t only about oysters. Head over to the main stage for live music from Rodney Atkins and Cam, presented by 95KSJ, and more throughout the day, November 4.
The best part? These concerts are included with your Cook-Off admission.

Oyster tasting tickets can be purchased with credit or debit cards at all points of sale.
Tasting tickets can be used to purchase oysters.
Tasting tickets CANNOT be used for the purchase of beverages or at the Hangout restaurant. Unused tasting tickets have no cash value.
Tasting tickets CANNOT be used to purchase food inside The Hangout restaurant or drinks at The Hangout bars.

Our beach destination, Gulf Shores, AL, is gorgeous and rich in local seafood, talented chefs and friendly people. November is an incredible time to visit and taste all that we have to offer!
Driving to the Hangout Oyster Cook-off is easy from cities across the southeast and mid-west. Atlanta, Chattanooga, Memphis, Athens, Asheville, Tampa Bay, Gainesville, Nashville and Houston are all just a short day's drive away. And if you live in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Montgomery or Jackson, you can be here in a few hours.
Once you hop off I-65, I-10 or Highway 98, the Gulf Shores Parkway and Beach Express make it easy cruise straight down to the beach and the Hangout Oyster Cook-off.
Most major airlines fly into nearby Mobile and Pensacola airports. Both airports are about an hour's drive from the Hangout Oyster Cook-off, so once you land you'll want to rent a car.
